Irish Penfriends

Year 6 boys have been corresponding with boys form Christian Brothers School, Kilkenny, Ireland.  Hamish Bergin attended CBS last year and his classmates from Kilkenny wrote to CCPS boys.  The letters were received with great excitement and the penfriend letters will now be going back and forth.  Some have already connected online as well.  Our boys have been learning a great deal about life in Ireland and how it differs from ours.  Their handwriting is even very different to ours too!  The teachers from both schools have also been collaborating to make this initiative a valuable learning experience for the students.
