Information of communication and technology

Learning to use information and communication technologies (ICT) is a key element of schooling and is integrated into all Key Learning Areas.

Students have access to networked computers in every classroom K-6 and Interactive White Boards (IWBs) in all learning areas. All Students use the computer lab equiped with 25 computers and the Library Research Centre each week to develop and practise their skills in finding and organising information, expressing themselves and communicating with others electronically.

All students have access and use the Connected Classroom which allows for video conferencing with other schools and for virtual excursions.

Students participate in a variety of ICT activities throughout each year, so that by the end of their primary schooling students are able to use a wide range of computer hardware and applications to complete complex tasks.
