About us

Castle Cove Public School is a co-educational primary school which was founded in 1952.

We are dedicated to developing the whole child intellectually, socially, emotionally, creatively and physically through individual, shared and cooperative learning experiences. We believe learning is most effective when students work together in a supportive, attractive and happy environment. In this setting, students develop self-discipline and take responsibility for their own learning. Active engagement, taking risks, and applying learning through enjoyable, relevant and challenging experiences are essential for success. We also emphasise the importance of learning how to learn.

We provide quality education where all students are valued as learners, experience success and have their achievements recognised. Our experienced staff deliver rich curricula that build confidence, motivation, self-discipline and responsibility in a safe, secure and caring environment. High achievement is encouraged and celebrated as an important part of our school culture.

As a focal point of the community, Castle Cove Public School benefits from strong parent involvement and a shared commitment to maintaining and enhancing the natural environment. Our school community takes pride in supporting a welcoming and nurturing space for all.

Developed in partnership with teachers and the community, our purpose is to provide a caring environment where children are nurtured both as individuals and as members of the group. We strive to offer positive and challenging educational programs that reflect community aspirations and to foster a culture of lifelong learning.
