Meeting Caitlyn Thwaites, the NSW Swifts player who is also a dual gold-medallist (Commonwealth Games 2014 and World Championships 2015) was just one of the highlights of the recent Netball Gala Day held at Willoughby Leisure Centre. The pace was fast and our four teams of Year 5 and 6 girls and boys, played all their matches with great enthusiasm. Our second boys' team won three out of their four matches and the goal shooting partnership of Tom and Fred was awesome. Well done to all our players and a particular thanks to Clare Dunstan, who assisted with the umpiring.
