Year 2 - Schoolhouse Museum Excursion

The NSW Schoolhouse Museum was the first school building of North Ryde Public School and dates back to 1877. The museum collects and preserves objects and items relating to the history of public school education in NSW. Students will be immersed in past daily school life through early school lessons, outdoor activities and exploration of artefacts and objects from the past. The museum supports our new history syllabus “The Past in the Present” and is a wonderful hands-on learning experience.
