STEM at our school

At Castle Cove Public School, we are deeply passionate about igniting curiosity in Science, inspiring students to explore the wonders of the world around them, and providing meaningful opportunities for hands-on scientific discovery.

We are proud to have two passionate and dedicated Science teachers, Mrs Anjali Rao and Mrs Priscilla Clarry, who focus on delivering engaging Science lessons for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Each year, we host a special event called "Science Under the Stars," where students showcase their innovative science and STEM projects and enjoy captivating lectures from expert guest speakers.

Science classes

Our science program includes dedicated weekly lessons in which students explore the world around them and engage in age-appropriate experiments, offering a hands-on, enriching learning experience.

NSW Space Discovery Program

This year, our Stage 3 students had the exciting opportunity to participate in the NSW Space Discovery program. They tackled a space-themed design thinking challenge, creating innovative solutions to help astronauts live and work in space or applying space technologies to address problems on Earth. They presented their designs at a vibrant showcase day.
